Who we
are....
We are a Scottish couple who
have finally completed the adoption of a beautiful little girl. It's been a
roller coaster of a ride. Our journey has been difficult and traumatic,
however, when we look back, the issues/difficulties don't seem so bad - if
only it was like that when we were dealing with them.
Adopters Scotland was founded
during 2000, as a direct result of us trying to find more information to
help us through the adoption process. So, we decided to share this
knowledge and the website was born. The website is open to all - adopters, adopted people, organisations or someone who is thinking about Adoption or Fostering. We would also be delighted to hear from people who have been adopted and for them, hopefully, to share their adoption experience - the more information we have, the better prepared we can be. Hopefully our pages will help
and over the forthcoming months, the web site will evolve - this can only
